Food Safety Training

Taskmaster is now an accredited food safety-training centre. We can offer accredited level two courses for those food handlers working in the catering & hospitality environments.

The course is recommended for anyone who is working in the catering and hospitality industries. 

The aim of this one-day course is to give delegates practical knowledge of the fundamentals of good practice and safe food handling.

 Course content

The course is interactive and will cover topics including:

Simple bacteriology

Food poisoning & its prevention

Prevention of food contamination

Personal hygiene

Design of premises & equipment

Cleaning & disinfection

Pest control

Legal requirements under current legislation

A food safety textbook will be provided to delegates to keep. The course is of 6 / 7 hours duration and conducted during one day, followed by a 30 question multiple-choice exam.

All successful candidates will receive the nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Food Safety.
