TM Resourcing are currently recruiting for Transport/Customer Service Administrator.

The role is a permanant role paying a salary of £16,500.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 2 week shift pattern, 8am-4.30pm or 9.30am-6pm.

Summary of Position:

  • Processing of customer orders accurately and in a timely manner on our transport system
  • Monitoring of customer imported orders
  • Answer telephone calls and directing to the correct person
  • Dealing with customer enquiries promptly and providing excellent customer service
  • Accessing TMS to check times of deliveries and loads are planned according
  • Updating the current position of deliveries and informing customers of any delays
  • Provide customers with breakdown of deliveries for the next day
  • Manage customer service emails for POD requests
  • Maintenance of customer account regarding rates
  • Produce KPI Reports for customers if requested
  • Maintain compliance of health & safety and all company policies and procedures

  • The successful candidate must be computer literate. Have excellent customer service, organisational and administrative skills. Be methodical with an eye for detail, be able to work under pressure, co-ordinate and manage their own work load and be a good time keeper. Knowledge and the understanding of working in a logistics environment would be an advantage but not essential.
