Logistics Manager

Circa £30,000 - 35,000

Warehouse & Logistics Manager needed to take charge of a busy FMCG Warehouse and Logistics Operation.

You will be required to continually improve processes, raise standards, train and develop staff and you will be expected to deliver a first class operation by:

  • Liaising with internal/external customers, transport companies and suppliers
  • Ensuring that customer orders are picked, checked and despatched correctly to given deadlines.
  • Implement and manage stock control systems for all equipment sent and returned from the site.
  • Co-ordinate the correct disposition of returned material with Stores and Production.
  • Maintain and control transport supplier database

You will need:

  • Proven track record in a management role with responsibility for logistics.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Excellent organisational skills
