Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a porter to join a well-established portering team in a busy health care setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to help provide a front line service to the local community.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Moving of patients (in wheelchairs or beds)
  • Moving of equipment
  • Moving of waste (When needed).
  • All other adhoc duties as required by the portering manager.

Due to the physical requirements of the role, you will be required to spend large parts of the working day on your feet.

You would be required to work 5 days out of 7 and have the flexibility to work a varying degree of shift patterns (which will include occasional unsocial hours working). Total hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week.

DUE TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS WE RECEIVE, IT IS ONLY POSSIBLE TO RESPOND TO SHORT LISTED CANDIDATES. IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS OF YOUR APPLICATION THEN ON THIS OCCASION YOUR APPLICATION HAS NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL. A FULL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH CLEARANCE & ENHANCED DBS CLEARANCE IS ALSO A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS ROLE.
