12 week temp to perm
£23,000 p.a
Monday to Friday
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently looking for an Transport Administrator to work for a well known major distribution company based in Doncaster (DN14) on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis. The job will be working Mon - Fri between the hours of work will be 0600-1430 / 0930-1800 - flexibility is required but nothing outside of these hours.
Responsibilities
- Health and Safety
- Primary interface between Transport Planners and our customers
- Daily communication with customers, suppliers and employees
- Management of the customer experience from order to invoice
- Maintenance of the haulage availability mechanism
- Agreeing delivery timescales with the customer
- Proactive communication of delivery issues to our customers
- Provision of ETA’s and resolution of live delivery issues
- Processing and management of additional haulage charges from customer agreement to payment recovery
- Updating customer sales ordering system
- POD requests
- KPI reporting
Key Skills
- Have the ability to work to strict deadlines and targets.
- Have the ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and people management skills.
- IT skills
- Customer Service skills
Experience
- Good commercial awareness and a commitment to providing customers with the highest standards of service.
- A proven track record in a logistics/admin/face paced service driven background.
- Experience of working and communicating with large teams of people
Transport Admin experience would be essential for this role and you must be comftorble and able to work in a fast pased busy transport environment.
