Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Baler Operator to join our clients team based in Huntingdon.
Job Description
Our client is a family-owned company manufacturing animal feed and bedding from straw. The factory operates on a 24hr/7 continental shift system. The experienced and fully trained production team consists of two multi- skilled operators and a multi-skilled shift manager per shift.
The Role: Baler Operator
A vacancy has arisen for a General Operator / Forklift Driver within the Bailer Department at the Huntingdon Site, own transport is essential due to the site location.
Starting salary is £14.50ph with the potential to progress higher. The main function of the role is to operate the straw bailing machine and transport pallets of finish goods with a FLT onto trailers. The candidate will need experience with driving a Forklift and provide a copy of a valid licence.
Our client operates a 12-hour continental shift system, overtime is paid.
Duties include:
• Minding / Operating an automated line.
• Transporting finished goods into storage or onto lorries ready from dispatch.
• Ensuring adequate stock is available.
• Conducting regular ad-hoc physical stock count on site.
• Completing all required paperwork, as well as quality control checks.
Full-time and £14.50ph.
