LGV Class 1 Vac Tanker Drivers (Non ADR Tankers) – Utilities - Workington
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HGV Class 1 Vacuum Tanker Driver to work part time for our prestigious utilities client operating out of their site in Workington. This position would ideally suit someone seeking part time/casual work, possibly someone looking to take semi-retirement wanting to reduce their hours. The job is to cover staff shortages and holiday periods and you can expect to work 2 days per week with overtime (possibly more in busy periods).
The work involves driving an Articulated HGV Class 1 Vehicle and the operation of a Vacuum Tanker. Full induction and training will be given to the right candidate. Normal working patterns are days. Early starts may be required as part of the team working out of this site.

Applicants will only be accepted on a PAYE basis, you can expect to earn between £13.54 and £27.08 per hour as well as accruing up to 34 days paid holiday per annum.
You must also have the following:
- HGV Class 1 Licence with less than 6 penalty points
- A Full Drivers CPC card
- Digital Tachograph Card is essential
- Previous Tanker Experience is advantageous but not essential
