TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are recruiting for a project manager for a well-established company within Brighton.
My client are an innovative, dynamic, award-winning energy services co-op. We are offering a unique opportunity for the right person to complement our growing team of energetic and socially minded individuals. This role is a chance to play an active role in the transition from fossil fuels in our energy supply, working with our customers directly to make it easy for them to choose for renewable energy and energy efficiency systems in their businesses and homes. Our customers are schools, product manufacturers, office buildings, housing associations, entertainment venues, and sports/social clubs to name a few.
Some of the technologies you will be involved with are: solar PV, heat pumps, battery storage, boilers, secondary glazing, insulation, draught proofing, stratification fans, LED lighting, underfloor heating, radiators, etc. The Project Manager will work alongside the CEO to help realise 24 projects this year.
Indicative Salary: from £25,000 to £30,000 full time, depending on experience.
The responsibilities of the roll are:
First point of contact with customers, managing the progression of projects under development. This will include selection of suppliers, the survey specification analysis and proposal preparation.
Building and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers.
Determining best technical specification for the project,
using proprietary economic model to derive the calculations needed to achieve optimal financial conditions for the customer regarding the type of agreement, term and payment schedule,
Preparation of the Proposal and Finance agreement,
Maintenance of economic and environmental impact records including carbon reduction and financial savings by customer member,
Reporting on the generation performance of our renewable energy assets to all stakeholders,
Qualifications
Engineer - mechanical, electrical | Sales experience or good sales skills, Good understanding of renewable heating systems | Solar PV installer qualification is a plus | commercial creativity and ingenuity | Ambition and drive to grow your own team
