We have not one, but three superb opportunities for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on a full time, ongoing basis, within a close knit team for an established, successful and sizeable haulier in St Helens.
The role will suit drivers who want to work days, Monday to Friday whilst enjoying the luxury of every weekend off!
Successful candidates will enjoy a full training programme (for which you will be paid) before being passed out into the role. This job involves the transportation of glass on stillage's and specialist float-liner trailers (no handballing!). The majority of the work is trunking and the start times are usually between 05:00 and 06:00 am, an average shift being approximately 12 hours in duration. Odd nights out are sometimes required for those willing to undertake them.
Great rates of pay on offer:
PAYE:
£10.00 per hour basic - overtime rate of £12.00 per hour paid after 8 hours.
Full Annual Holiday Accrual
LTD:
£11.00 per hour basic - overtime rate of £13.00 per hour paid after 8 hours
£1.00 per hour extra in lieu of holiday pay.
