Candidate profile:
A driven, entrepreneurial candidate interested in leading the rapid growth and development of an established private client department. Strong legal technical knowledge and experience is essential. The department handles a broad range of private client matters including:
Wills (both traditional offline wills as well as developing & managing an online wills service)
Probate and Estate administration
Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection
Trusts and Estate Planning
Required skills and experience:
Proven experience of acting on behalf of clients in relation to private client, with a particular focus on wills and probate.
Excellent technical skills across the full remit of private client matters.
A proven ability to think commercially (balancing rules, regulations, risks, client interests and revenues)
An interest in modernising legal services and utilising technology
Self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to consider the bigger picture and not just focus on the issue at hand
Able to play a key role in business development and networking opportunities.
