A fantastic opportunity to join an award winning, international Marketing Agency which has offices in both the U.K and U.S. Specifically this is a great chance to join the vibrant and enthusiastic sales team who work out of the central London office and deal with global brands including Pernod Ricard, Porsche, Estee Lauder, Molton Brown, Virgin as well as many more.
The London office has an enviable central location with excellent transport links and routes in and out with the team regularly nipping out to Shoreditch for lunch time and Friday afternoon drinks.
Role Overview
To drive new business opportunities and approach decision makers at the world's most exciting brands. You will speak with senior decision makers at leading brands within Fashion, FMCG, Drinks, Automotive, Luxury, Travel sectors to gauge how they currently manage their marketing activities with a view to pitching Agency TK services.
The ultimate goal of the `Business Development Exec will be to book face to face meetings with decision makers and brief the senior team on the scope of the respective opportunities. You will be targeted on the number of meetings booked per month with a Bonus available upon successfully hitting target.
A further bonus will be available based on opportunities that convert that have come via the Business Development Executive's channels.
To help achieve and surpass the targets the Business Development Manager will provide on-going training and mentoring and you will regularly report directly into them as well as the Senior Account Managers.
The successful candidate will have the chance to continue to grow and develop as part of the sales team with a clear path to career progression. Business Development manager would be the next step followed by Business Development Director.
However should you wish to move into more of a marketing based role (upon completion of probation) this would be a possibility also.
Candidate Requirements
Sales experience is preferred but not necessarily essential for candidates who are looking to make a career in Sales & Marketing.
This role will ideally suit somebody with a specific knowledge and passion for advertising / marketing / sales, who is looking for a career with a thriving advertising agency, so a degree in a Marketing discipline would be preferable.
The chosen candidate will possess a can do attitude and have the ability to think outside of the box in order to solve challenges and come up with innovative and creative ways in which to sell the Agency.
