New Build Conveyancing Solicitor

We are now looking for either an experienced solicitor or conveyancing executive who has the ability to manage a (complex ) case load of bespoke new build files and deal with all aspects of new build conveyancing including full title investigation and preparation of property reports. You should be able to evidence a thorough understanding of the new build process, specifically with reference to Help to Buy Equity and other similar builder Shared Equity Schemes.

The role will involve:

• Handling a combined case load of new build plot purchase and related sale or part exchange matters.

• Providing support to the Team Leader(s), Managers and Head of the New Build Conveyancing Department and assisting with overseeing, supervising and developing the skills of the junior members of the team.

• Monitor and review capacity and liaise with Team Leader/Head of Department where appropriate

• Develop a culture of teamwork, high performance with a strong focus on customer care

• Ability to build strong and effective relationships with customers and particularly with reference to developers and site sales representatives

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ensure work carried out set processes and procedures of the business

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 2 years' recent experience of dealing with new build property transactions and be able to evidence a strong commitment to achieve individual targets and objectives, whilst working under pressure and showing an ability to achieve the strict time constraints of each property transaction.

It is essential that you are competent in dealing with all aspects of new build property transactions in addition to freehold, leasehold, right to buy, shared ownership transactions and unregistered titles.
