HGV Class 2 Driver
We are currently recruiting drivers based in St Ives. Market town and civil parish in Cambridgeshire, England. St Ives lies about 5 miles east of Huntingdon and 12 miles north-west of the city of Cambridge. We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for drivers with experience of Class 2 vehicles.
We have work provided on a regular basis Monday - Friday. We require drivers who have a positive can do attitude, that are willing to go the extra mile when needed and are able to work in a professional/responsible manner. This role will suit someone who has previously worked as a Class 2 driver. You will be required to be flexible based on our requirements. Up to 1 delivery and 1 collection per day. You will be allocated with drivers mate.
The ideal candidate will need:
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence applicable for driving Class 2 with no more than 6points
- Ability to deliver good customer service
- Organised and able to work on own initiative
- Good geographical awareness and/or map reading skills
- Knowledge of digital tachographs and FTA regulations
- Knowledge of working time directive
- Valid Drivers CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Professional and flexible attitude
- Excellent time-keeping skills
- Good comprehension of written and spoken English - Drivers are required to converse with our clients/customers and must be able to complete administrative duties such as timesheets, vehicle check sheets and proof of delivery forms.
- LTD and PAYE drivers are welcome

Salary: £10.50 P/hour
Required Documents:
- ID - Passport, EU Identification Card or Birth Certificate
- 3 x Licenses - Driving Licence, Digital Tacho Card and CPC
- Proof of personal bank details - Bank statement
- National Insurance Number - NOT PAYSLIP (Can accept - P45, P60 or a letter from HMRC)
- 2 years Reference details MUST be available
- LTD - Business Bank Statement & LTD Certificate
