Finance Executive
£20,000-£22,000 - full time
We are seeking a Finance Executive within a fast-paced and innovative company. The successful candidate will be managing the ledgers across several businesses and preparing accurate monthly management accounts within tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is a great team player, eager to get the job done, and takes responsibility for their own personal development. Job role includes:
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving any disputes arising
- Checking VAT returns for accuracy prior to submission
- Assisting in the submission of annual accounts
- Entering payments onto the internet banking system for authorisation
- Ensuring sales and purchasing invoices are posted to the correct nominals
All applicants should have a few years' experience in a similar role, and/or a minimum qualification of AAT Level 3, along with a good understanding of Excel. You must have a good knowledge on how to prepare month end, trial balance reconciliation, journals, accruals and prepayment reports.
