£15.75 per hour standard and £23.61 per hour after 37.5 hours
Taskmaster is currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Grangemouth to assist source a temp to perm member as a maintenance technician / engineer.
We are looking for someone who is mechanically based with electrical knowledge. The role is working in a high speed production environment with chain and roller conveyors. You will be using both hydraulics, pneumatic system and controls.
You will be responsible to investigate the equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operations. You will be responsible to provide feedback to each line manager with a degree of accuracy.
You must be able to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions as you will be working in a reactive and proactive plant.
You must have worked in a fast paced environment due to the industry and must be able to work at heights, deadlines and under pressure.
Previous experience using lathes and milling equipment is advantageous and previous experience of working in a lean manufacturing background is essential.
Must have quality control and health and safety awareness as you will be working unsupervised.
Experience on hydraulics and pneumatic systems OR ONC/HNC or similar in mechanicial or electrical discipline.

Due to this being an on going role we do require someone who is flexible to working weekends and overtime and also someone who can travel between the two sites.
Standard hours of work are Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm - Rotating each week.
Must have your own transport due to travelling between Grangemouth and Livingston.
