Have you got Food Supply Chain Experience?

Can you assist the procurement team in the day to day scheduling, ordering of all products whilst fulfilling orders and keeping waste to a minimum?

A fast paced business in Hertfordshire is currently adding to its Planning team they need someone with:

• Experience within a supply chain environment preferably within the fresh produce industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work within a fast moving industry
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Proactive with the ability to multi task whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail
• Good excel skills (knowledge of pivot tables would be advantageous but not essential)
• Preferably experience with an ERP system

You will be accountable for:

• Create weekly supplier orders
• Weekly supplier proformas
• Updating MRP
• Managing daily stock balances and amends with suppliers
• Supplier KPI's and customer service levels
• Managing stock rotation and waste

You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining stock on a daily basis and updating MRP whilst developing new processing integrating the ERP system.

• Daily communication with suppliers and operations insuring orders are covered at the lowest cost to the business.
