We have a number of opportunities for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work full time ongoing on a 4-month contract for an established and prestigious client in the Rossendale area.

Successful applicants can expect to enjoy the luxury of driving a new vehicle and doing up to 7 drops per day on the nationwide delivery of underlay. A good level of physical fitness will be required as there is often handball involved. Experience is preferred because the role involves deliveries in mid-town and city centre locations.

The good news is because of the physicality of the role and the experience levels required this job pays premium rates and your skills will translate into a very lucrative pay packet. You can expect to earn an average of £800 to £900 per week on this contract.

You'll work Monday to Friday with the very occasional run in on a Saturday morning which means you'll earn a high salary and every weekend off. The days are long with early starts and you will be looking to be out for 4 nights per week. The hourly rate is £11.50 with an additional £24.90 night out rate plus full holiday accrual. For Limited Drivers the rate will be £12.50 in lieu of holiday pay.
