Content Editor
We require a Content Editor to work on Europe's leading birding news website and sightings service, and the premier monthly magazine for keen birders.
Focusing on the magazine which attracts a growing community of more than 100,000 unique visitors each month, you will produce a range of written and visual content designed to connect with an online birding audience.
As such, you will have a good knowledge and understanding of using online analytics and developing audiences via social media, apps and video, and be bursting with ideas and positivity about the potential reach of digital platforms in birding.
You will also write content and assist with production of the magazine, working with both its print and digital editions.
You will be an avid birder with a thorough knowledge of British and European birds, as well as being familiar with the basic principles of taxonomy and avian classification.
You should already be working in content generation or a related editorial environment, and be as enthusiastic about driving engagement as you are about adding a new mega to your list.
