TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) Division are currently recruiting a Skilled Service Engineer on Behalf of a well-established Engineering Company Based in ST.Ives Cambridgeshire

MUST be Experienced in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

Be able to Work from Engineering (Schematic) Electrical Diagrams

IDEALY With CCTV and Security Alarm systems experience

WOULD CONSIDER, Similar Industries Experience, Such as TELCO'S ETC.

Qualifications: Would be Good in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Although not essential

Product: Company produce a wide range or products - please ask for more information on there products along with their alarm systems and monitoring equipment

Job: Classic Service Engineer role responsible for fault finding a range of Electronic/Electrical Systems that work on Similar Low Voltage (240V to 12V) Circuits to CCTV and Security Alarm systems.

The role require travelling to sites around the UK from North Yorkshire to the South Coast, involving installation, service, commissioning and fault find / repair of system faults

This will also include visits to site to support break down faults if not able to be rectified via telephone support.

Fault find involves working from electrical circuit diagrams to detect system faults which will be due to either wiring or faulty modules. Faulty modules are commonly replaced and returned to workshop for repair.

Must be proactive and able to work on own initiative, possesses strong communication skills (personable, able to question to guide non-technical people to resolve faults, via telephone and in face to face situations, etc.),

Full Clean Driving Licence. - However would consider minimum points

Essential to the role: Calls mostly there and back in a day, so need to be happy driving long distances as part of the job.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 5pm. Over Time Paid For Travel Time From the Workshop Back Home or If Leave From Home Direct to Client visit.

Salary

£25,000 -£28,000 Basic Plus £6000 Over Time Per Year - OTE £31,000 -£34,000
