TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are proudly recruiting on behalf of a small, family owned precision engineering company based on the outskirts of Loughborough.

Our client offers various precision engineering services, including CNC and manual milling, turning, machining and grinding. The nature of their work is varied as batch sizes can vary from 1 offs to 20 offs (predominantly 1 offs & prototype work).

It is a regular occurrence for customers to visit their site, meaning this is a somewhat customer facing role. As well as machining new parts, our client offers repair and refurbishment services

Due to the small batch nature of their work, it is essential for all applicants to be able to program from scratch with the Heidenhain control.

Our client is a very small company and employs under 10 people, it is therefore essential for candidates to be able to work off of their own initiative and with minimal supervision.

Ideal Candidate:

• Skilled Machinist (Ideally in CNC and Manual Milling and Turning)

• Comfortable machining to tight tolerances and time frames

• Capable writing CNC programs from scratch with Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol controls

• Capable of understanding and interpreting engineering drawings

• Confident and happy to work on own initiative

Position Details:

• Starting Salary: Up to £14 per hour

• Shifts: Permanent Days

  • Monday to Thursday - 7:30AM to 3:40PM

  • Friday - 7:30AM to 12:30PM

• Holiday Entitlement: 28 Days (Including Bank Holidays)
