Role: HR Manager

Salary: £30-£40k

Taskmaster Recruitment are currently on the lookout for an experienced HR Manager to join a busy distribution company based in Peterborough.

This will be a fast-paced, varied role with many areas to focus on.

Preference will be given to candidates who have a background in haulage operations, although exceptional candidates from other industries will still be considered.

We're looking for an individual who is:

• A strategic and experienced HR professional who can partner with the business to drive all areas of the company's staff agenda
• Is able to develop and sustain a learning culture, identify development needs and ensure learning plans are in place by utilising resources.
• Support the Directors in the development of the Senior Management team
• Can support the management team with all recruitment activity throughout the company, ensuring it is in line with strategy, process, procedure and budget
• Can coach and support the management team to deal with people issues effectively and deal with potential high risk situations including potential terminations, complex issues, redundancies, restructures, TUPE implications and long term absence
• Can support the managment team to ensure payroll costs are kept in line with budget and is responsible for ensuring compliance on all matters relating to NMW/NLW.
• Can drive the company employee engagement stratergy by analysing and actioning the survey results
• Has the desire and ability to improve knowledge and abilities through on-going training and development
• You will ideally be CIPD qualified or working towards your CIPD qualification
