TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are proudly assisting a small sub-contract precision engineering organisation based Sheffield.
Our client offers a variety of precision engineering services, including CNC Milling, Turning, Grinding and Wire Erosion. They predominantly produce jigs and fixtures for the Aerospace market but often work outside this wit customers in the Defence and Automotive sectors.
The company is currently going through a period of exciting growth due to increasingly high levels of demand from customers. In order to keep up with this, they are now looking to increase their headcount by adding a Skilled CNC Miller to their team on a permanent basis.
As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for producing highly complex components in varying batch sizes (usually 1 offs) for customers in the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Rail sectors. This will involve working directly from a technical drawing, creating your own program, setting up the machine and then producing the component in line with quality standards.
Duties Will Include:
Writing bespoke programs from scratch using Heidenhain
Working directly from a technical drawings
Machining to tight tolerances and time frames
Working off your own initiative and with minimal supervision
Adhering to lean manufacturing principles and company H&S policies
