We have several vacancies for HGV Class 1 Drivers who would like to work on a full time, ongoing basis for a client who is a top ten global provider of transportation and logistics based in Warrington.
These jobs will suit drivers who would like to work for an established and successful supermarket chain, driving new vehicles (FM's DAF's and MERC's) and enjoying drivers restroom facilities complete with microwave.
The role is based from a distribution centre in Warrington and you will deliver frozen, chilled and ambient foods. Manual handling is involved together with pallet trucks, tail lifts and some cage work. Shift lengths are approximately 13 hours in duration.
There are various start times ranging from 11:00 am to 17:00 pm and we will do our best to match you to a start time that best suits your work/life requirements.
Great rates of pay on offer as follows:
PAYE
£12.50 per hour - Monday to Friday plus full holiday accrual
£13.50 per hour - Saturdays plus full holiday accrual
£14.50 per hour - Sundays plus full holiday accrual
No breaks deducted!
Limited Drivers will command an extra £1 per hour in lieu of holiday accrual.
There are added incentives for those who want them. If you give us 4-months ongoing and excellent service we'll reward you with an ADR course in tanks and packages worth up to £500, which also gives you 28 hours CPC
To be successful you must be over 25 years of age and have a minimum of 12 months continuous Class 1 driving experience. This criteria is a must for insurance purposes.
