Mechanical Fitter

£25-£30k Depending on Experience
TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering Division) are currently working with the market leading manufacturer of specialist weaving / textile machinery and ancillary equipment. Our client operate in many exiting fields such as carbon fibre, nonwoven, flat and pile textiles and are part of the UKs most successful carpet weaving group.
Due to ongoing planned expansion they seek an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the machine build team at the Washington facilities.
Ideal candidates should process the following:
Experience in machine build, time served, or apprentice trained.
Ability to work to assembly drawings.
Understand mechanical assemblies and parts including bearings, moving mechanisms, cams, gears etc.
Knowledge of pneumatics.
Experience in textile industry would be advantageous but not necessary.
