- Description
A successful Leeds City Centre Law Firm are looking to add an Database Administrator to their expanding finance department. The firm continues to go from strength to strength and as of such additional talented individuals are needed to join their friendly, close knit existing team. The working environment within the centrally located, modern, open plan offices is relaxed, with a dress down policy but everyone works hard to acheive the firm's common goals.
Duties
Client inception and closure
Matter transfers
Revaluation of WIP
Rate changes and maintenance
Employee starter and leaver management
Daily reporting
Escalation of system issues to service provider
Assist with the Bank Reconciliation process on a daily and monthly basis
Addressing mailbox queries within the agreed SLA
Action ad-hoc requests as required
Ensure familiarity with, and adherence to, the Solicitor Accounting Rules
Ensure policy and procedure is current and accurate at all times
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail
Required experience / skills / charcter:
Minimum two years finance experience, preferably associated with database administration or compliance, within a Legal environment is essential
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Possess good numerical skills with attention to detail; good administration, analytical, organisational and problem solving skills
Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a professional and personable manner
Display a strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and use initiative
Ability to develop solid internal working relationships with all within Finance and the business as a whole
Good working knowledge of Arista and Artiion is preferred but not essential
