Taskmaster Resources LTD is one of the leading catering agencies in the Yorkshire area. We are currently looking to recruit temporary kitchen assistants to join our team of staff to cover various on-going contracts. We have numerous roles throughout the region with several long term opportunites. Many of our contracts are within schools and care homes and as such a portable Enhanced DBS is required or you must be willing to apply for one.

Your main duties in this role will include:

Assisting the Chef with basic food preparation and cooking

Prepare and present sandwiches

Clean crockery, cutlery, utensils, containers and small scale equipment manually and through a machine washer.

Clean floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment manually.

Comply with food hygiene regulations with regard to food service equipment cleaning and kitchen cleanliness

High personal hygiene standards

Comply with Health and Safety regulations

Participate as a team member

Operate cash register at point of service if required

Store goods correctly and use stock on a rotational basis.

We need people who are flexible in relation to shift patterns and who are able to get to various locations throughout Leeds at short notice. It would be beneficial if applicants had access to their own transport but not essential.

All applicants must either possess a Level 2 Food Safety certificate dated witin the last 2 years or be happy to complete the online course to acheive this qualification at a cost of £15.

It would also be advantageous if applicants held a current DBS check which is portable or be willing to apply for one at a cost of £58
