Do you have experience of both internal and external communications? Do you want to work for an organisation that has a massive impact on the lives of people within the local community? Have you also provided PR and marketing support within the public sector?
If so, this could be the role for you.
We are currently recruiting for a Communications Officer to work on a 3-6 months basis for one of our NHS clients. The role will reverberate around supporting the communications team and the Trust in communications (external and internal), PR and marketing. This will involve:
- Being a key contact for local and regional media. - drafting press releases/statements.
- Provide assistance to colleagues on media opportunities.
- Produce articles and distribute weekly staff ebulletins and quarterly staff newsletters.
- Be involved and lead specific communications campaigns and projects.
- Organise and coordinate events.
- Assist and work with the graphic designer on printed materials.
- Take a lead on making sure that the Trust's intranet and website is constantly refreshed and up to date.
- Provide analysis and reports on intranet and website hit rates.
- Manage the Trust's social media platforms.
- Maintain strong links and good working relationships with other organisations and journalists.
The ideal candidate will have undertaken a similar role previously. However, if you have covered the majority of the above duties and have worked within the public sector, then do not hesitate to apply.
