Description

Supplier Liaison Assistant

Hours: 0900-1730

Salary: 18.5k + car allowance + mileage

Temp to Perm basis

Role:

  • To support the Supplier Liaison Auditor on ensuring all new supplier records are generated and maintained on a regular basis.
  • To ensure all new suppliers are fully trained and ensure that trainiong records are updated
  • To ensure that suppliers declared stock levels are correct
  • To ensure that supplies are despatched on time and in compliance with the agreed SLA.
  • To ensure support to the Supplier Liaison Auditor as and when required with Supplier queries.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • To record and document audit reports on behalf of the Supplier Liaison Auditor
  • To facilitate regular supplier meetings as and when required by the Supplier Liaison Auditor
  • To ensure all new supplier training reports and details of mail order packing requirements, returns and repair processes, claims and carrier issues are recorded,
  • Record and report on service - both as reported by the supplier, the carrier, and the customer (nil stocks, missing items, undelivered, damaged in transit)
  • Maintain suite of supplier penalties per type and provide to the Supplier Liaison Auditor on a weekly basis
  • Ensure penalties are appropriately applied and agree action plans with suppliers to improve performance so that penalties are eliminated.
  • Any other administration activity within warehouse operations as and when required

Candidates need:

  • High degree of proficiency in generic WMS functionality and systems administration - including upstream and downstream linkage to 3rd party applications/interface
  • Able to produce, digest and share large data sets in a prioritised way - inclusive of end-to-end commercial assessments of a total business.
