We have a permanent opportunity available for a factory cleaner based near North Berwick. My client is a very renowned and thriving food production company in the area and are very excited to be expanding in to 2019 and opening up some great new roles!
Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous however not mandatory as you will be trained.
Hours of work are Monday- Friday 1800-0145 daily. Due to the rural location of the factory is is essential that applicants have their own transport as there are no public links within the shift times.
Your duties will include but not necessarily restricted to:
- To follow daily cleaning schedules and work instructions
- To work as part of a team to ensure the factory meets the legal cleaning requirements of a food production factory.
- Pressure washing
- To ensure that the correct amount of cleaning chemicals are used with a particular quantity of water.
- To ensure that soap dispensers, sanitiser dispensers, and towel dispensers are replenished.
- To ensure all mops, brushes, shovels etc are cleaned and tidied away at the end of each shift.
- To ensure all Hygiene, Health and Safety and HACCP requirements are met.
- The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the needs of the business.
