Description

Taskmaster are recruiting a Porter / Receptionist to work for one of our NHS clients in Steeton, Keighley.

Location: BD20

Hours of work: 0700 - 1500 / 0900 - 1700 / 1200 - 2000, 5 days over 7. 37.5 hours per week.

Pay: £7.90ph Basic / £11.38ph Saturday / £14.85ph Sunday

Duration: 3 months initially with a view of extension

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Escort patients and staff to and from hospital departments as required
  • Reception/telephone duties
  • Indoor & outdoor removal and disposal of household, clinical and confidential waste and laundry
  • Indoor and outdoor environment security/safety checks as required
  • Receipt and safe storage and distribution of deliveries
  • To assist with the movement of furniture and equipment as necessary within the hospital to include setting up and preparing rooms for meetings
  • Cleaning of all food service areas, including equipment, to meet agreed standards
  • Act as hospital receptionist and assist visitors and staff with general enquiries
