Maintenance Engineer

TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are recruiting for a maintenance engineer for a well-established company within the Newbury area.

As a result of continuous business growth they are looking to expand the team and recruit an additional Maintenance engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in the career and join a well-established and successful team.

Day to Day job activities will include:

• Inspect and troubleshoot industrial shredders, granulators, conveyor belts and other plant machinery

• Fixing faults on plant machinery or arranging for replacements to be installed

• Carrying out inspections on plant machinery

• Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work for lorries

• Preventative maintenance

• Welding activities when necessary

• Dealing with breakdowns, unplanned problems and repairs

• Check functionality of safety systems

• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly

If you have experience in any of the following, we would like to hear from you:

• Experience in repairing mobile plant such as forklifts, lorries;

• Background in lorries (HGV) maintenance or any vehicle maintenance;

• Experience in repairing any machinery such as conveyor belts, industrial shredders, granulators;

• Experience in repairing/maintaining any industrial machinery;

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems - represents an advantage, but not essential

• Welding skills

• Fault find skills

Working hours: Monday to Friday: 07:30am - 5:00pm (07.30am - 10.00pm Every other Friday)

Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00
