Multi Service Technician
We are looking for a self-motivated multi service technician to join our expanding technical support team. You will be working for a well-established company in the UK specialising in the sales, servicing, repair and maintenance of machinery. You should have a strong background in providing comprehensive services to customers across a wide range of manufacturing sectors. We are expanding and currently have a vacancy available for an experienced service technician looking to further develop their career. You will be responsible for installations, service, repairs and breakdowns of equipment at customer sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
Main Duties:
Installation and setup of equipment.
Provide service both nationally and in Ireland.
Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding.
Telephone and onsite technical support.
Onsite customer training and housekeeping.
Repair and Service Equipment.
Instrumentation Commissioning.
Electrical Assembly.
The successful candidate:
NVQ/HNC/HND in a related discipline such as Electrical Engineering.
Experience in electrical fault finding of machinery.
Electrical & Mechanical Skills.
Conversant in a variety of PLC and computer control systems and machinery types (Siemens PLC Technology)
Good Communication Skills.
Willingness to travel is essential as is self-motivation to work independently.
