CNC Programmer
£22,000-27,000
We are looking for several CNC Setter, Programmers for our client in Rotherham due to their continued investment and expansion. You'd be working on modern CNC machines, mainly on medium volume varied batch work.
As a Machinist / Programmer your main responsibilities will involve:
- Manufacture component parts to engineering drawings.
- Ability to work to high precision, reading and interpreting CAD and engineering drawings.
- Competent in using a range of measuring equipment.
- Good interpersonal skills within a developing team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform necessary quality checks.
- Maintain the high level of Health and Safety for everyone within the premises.
- Experience in Fanuc and/or Hurco / NC Programming / Conversational Programming essential.
Machines used:
- Turning - Doosan (Twin Spindle & Milling), Takisawa, both with bar-feeders, all Fanuc operating systems
- Milling - Hurco VMX24 & VMX42, Brother with pneumatic/hydraulic clamping
- Sliding Head Lathes - Tornos Deco Computer Numerical Control setting, programming and operating experience within precision engineering.
Working morning and afternoon shifts, including a shift bonus.
Competitive rates of pay depending on experience with the opportunity for mid-week and weekend overtime. An additional 6% performance and quality bonus scheme is operated and applied to gross wages (inc. overtime).
22 days holiday + stats, Pension Scheme
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, demonstrate a "can do" attitude and be able to work on their own initiative.

Qualifications (desired but not essential):
- A recognised qualification in mechanical engineering and/or relevant engineering apprenticeship.
