Business Development Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Officer to work for one of our public sector clients based in Shipley. The role is initially for a 12 week period, however, there is a definite possibility of extension for the right person. The position will revolve around proactively selling (both over the telephone and face-to-face) a variety of services. The general duties will involve:

• Developing a pipeline of client prospects.
• Arranging appointments for key service managers to meet with potential clients.
• Creating and maintaining a CRM system, making sure that relevant information is stored on it.
• Helping to develop sales and lead generation processes.
• Providing progress reports to your line manager.

The ideal candidate will have undertaken a similar role previously. However, if you have at least 1 year of sales based work history and feel that you have the skills needed to undertake the role then do not hesitate to apply.
