Maintenance Engineer
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Permanent, Full Time
£20-£25k dependent upon experience plus benefits
TM Resourcing are working in partnership with our manufacturing client based in Leeds to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the role candidates must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and must be prepared to be flexible as there will be some occasions when you will be expected to work outside of your core hours.
Reporting to the Works Manager main duties will include but will not be limited to:
Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
Responding to breakdowns, faults and repairs
Managing stock and supplies
General site maintenance
All aspects of site security
Daily use of power tools and PPE
You will need:
BEng or City & Guilds in a relevant subject i.e. Manufacturing/Mechanical/Producing Engineering
- Welding general skills (essential)
Practical maintenance skills
A full clean UK driving licence
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
The ability to proritise your own workload, solve problems and remain calm under pressure
