Credit Control Assistant

Permanent, Full Time

£18k per annum, plus bonus scheme & benefits

Leeds (LS11)

TM Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent, full time basis to be based in our head office in Leeds.

Working alongside our current Credit Controller and managing a shared ledger of customer credit accounts duties will include but will not be restricted to:

  • Proactively chasing payment from customers via telephone and email

  • Dealing with incoming queries, raising copy invoices and credit notes

  • Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts

  • Supporting the wider team, pulling together at busy times and assisting colleagues

Person Specification:

  • Previous credit control experience ideally gained in a business to business environment

  • The ability to prioritise your own workload and work independently

  • Possess a tenacious attitude and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Conversant with IT packages such as Outlook and Excel

  • Experience using Opera or Merit accounting software would be a bonus

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch with the benefit of an early finish every 3rd Friday based on a rota.
