Grinder - IMMEDIATE START
Leeds, West Yorkshire
Permanent, Full Time
£20-£24½k dependent upon experience plus benefits
TM Resourcing are working in partnership with our manufacturing client based in Leeds to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motived Grinder for an immediate start on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Setting and operating manual cylindrical grinders and surface grinders
Inspecting and analysing own work
Re-dressing grinding wheels
Adjusting mechanisms to obtain correct tolerances
Maintaining manually set datums and reference points
You will need:
A minimum of 2 year's recent experience involving setting and operating grinders
Apprentice trained or relevant experience
Certificate in dressing and balancing wheels
Ability to work to tight tolerances
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Ability to work to tight deadlines
The successful candidate must be flexible in their approach to working practices, available to do overtime when necessary and carry out other duties when required.
