OVERTIME PAID AFTER 9 HOURS AND DOUBLE TIME FOR SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS!!
We have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Driver who would like a permanent position working for a prestigious international logistics company based in Knowsley.
The role is straight forward and non-specialist, involving the carriage of general haulage on curtain-sided vehicles and is not of a particularly physical nature. The role will suit drivers who like the idea of working Monday to Friday on day shifts, whilst enjoying the luxury of weekends off. However, the successful applicant must be willing to undertake the odd night out if necessary.
Your working day will start at around 06:00 am and you can expect to do around 6 drops daily. Shifts will be a minimum of 9 hours in duration and an average shift will be up to 12 hours. Overtime is sometimes available on Sundays and will be paid at double time.
Rates of pay are as follows:
£8.65 per hour for the first 9 hours in a day
£12.97 per hour for all hours after 9
£17.30 per hour for any shifts worked on a Sunday or Bank Holidays
Plus 28 days' holidays (including 8 days bank holidays)
