NHS Chef - Full Time - Bradford
Taskmaster Resources Ltd are looking for a chef to work for one of our NHS clients in Bradford.
Hours of work: Monday to Sunday
Shifts: 0800 - 1630 or 0830 - 1700 (Flexibility to work additional hours when required)
Pay:
Monday to Friday: £9.31 - £9.75 per hour
Saturday: £13.22 - £13.85 per hour
Sunday: £17.22 - £18.04 per hour
Duration: Ongoing
You will have one of the following qualifications:
- HND / Foundation Degree in Professional Cookery or Culinary Arts
- City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2, 706/3
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Service
- Intermediate Food Hygiene
As a chef, your duties include:
- Preparing food
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Storing food correctly
- Planning meals and menus
- Making sure as little as possible is wasted
- Supervising kitchen assistants
What we are looking for in you:
- Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook
- Interested in food and cooking
- Reliable, flexible and adaptable
- Keen to provide an excellent service
You will also need
- Awareness of food hygiene and food safety
- Teamwork skills
- Organisational skills
