TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are working on behalf of a leading prototyping and engineering organisation based in Darlington.
We are on the lookout for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team and program and operate a range of Hurco and HAAS CNC machining centres.
Applicants for this role must have experience & knowledge of CNC Machining and programming, but further advanced training can be provided where necessary.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Program, set and operate Hurco and HAAS CNC Machines
Conventional milling and turning wherever required
Producing fixtures and jigs
Offline programming using Delcam & Autodesk PowerMill
Machining with a range of materials
Working flexible hours where required to ensure customer demands are met
Candidate Brief:
3+ Years' minimum experience in CAM programming
IDEAL: Previous experience running Hurco and HAAS machines
IDEAL: Previous experience within 5 axis programming & machining
IDEAL: Toolmaking experience
Experience and knowledge of working to lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
Excellent time management experience with the ability of prioritising multiple workloads
Package:
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum - depending on experience and proven ability
Working Hours: Day shifts (39 hours per week)
