TMResourcing are recruiting a Junior Commercial Analyst for a prestigious client that has grown to be a key supplier within the food manufacturing industry. This role is ideally suited to a graduate or college leaver who has completed studies in Business or Maths and is looking for a first step into a career in Retail and Supply Chain.

Reporting into the Commercial Manager the key purpose of this position is to analyse and recommend actions and opportunities using various data sources from across the business. You will use commercial and marketing data to provide data insight and trends, developing action plans for categories and recommendations.

You will also utilise historical data to provide new forecasts and predict performance based on different theoretical scenarios.

Key Tasks Include;

• Complete and maintain various spreadsheets
• Presenting insight and recommendations from analyzing the data
• Forecasting and modelling
• Quantify potential risks with stock positions and sell offs
• Assess the impact of new products - profitability, sales, waste
• Develop commercial case for new products, ranges and promotions
• Assess and review proposals and actions
• Highlight potential risks going forward using the relevant data

The successful applicant for this post will possess the following attributes and skills/qualifications;

• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and good understanding of IT.
