Packaging Manager
Circa £30000-35000
A large scale Food FMCG business based in Hertfordshire is currently recruiting a Packaging Manager
You will be responsible for the ordering and control of packaging to ensure consistency of production schedule whilst maintaining low stock levels. You will have category ownership for MRP and factory supply of packaging materials based on forecasted volumes and within buying parameters.
Responsibilities include:
- Place orders with suppliers based on forecast and MRP
- Introduce Supplier Management process with Packaging Manager
- Drive buying economies and savings through accurate ordering and forecasting
- Open purchase orders on the ERP system
- Hire and de-hire trays and pallets, manage whole tray system
- Liaise with suppliers and deal with ongoing communications
