The Role:
Responsible for the day to day correspondence for a busy intellectual property team which will include general tasks such as:
Deadline management
Filing applications and related documents with a variety of Trade Mark Offices
Client work instructions and internal processes
Communicating with clients and foreign attorneys
Review considerations from outside counsel
Assist with updating and deadline duties
Manage prosecution files and attorney schedules
Coordinate diaries, meetings, conferences, and group events
Dealing with invoices and expense reports, prepare purchase orders, maintain informational spreadsheets and generate reports
Dealing with day to day queries to and from the firm's offices in Europe and the USA
Liaising with the UK and European Trade Mark Offices
Liaising with International agents
Candidate Requirements:
The position would suit a recent graduate (law preferably but not essential) or someone who has worked in a formalities role and is now looking to expand their knowledge and has:
Attention to detail
Organisational skills
Ability to work on their own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Experience working to precise deadlines
The capability to prioritise, take instruction and work under pressure
