Expanding, boutique, close-knit law firm with a family togetherness seeks a hungry, ambitious legal professional to join their practice in North Leeds as a Conveyancing Assistant / Trainee Conveyancer (fee earner).
With the firm going from strength to strength and securing more and more residential and commercial conveyancing work they need an experienced Legal Assistant or paralegal to assist their existing team of conveyancers with the increased work load.
You will be given hand on support and training on the job so that you can grow and develop in an encouraging, friendly environment where everyone pulls together in a flat structure. The firm have had great success in 'growing their own', helping their staff get the experience and / or qualifications needed to take the next step up the career ladder ultimately aiding the businesses development.

The Conveyancing Assistant / Trainee Conveyancer role, main duties:
- Day to day management of multiple and varied residential conveyancing files
- Administration surrounding the files, chasing and collating required documentation, etc.
- Liaising with all stakeholders involved with the file over the phone, email and post
- Taking instructions from conveyancer / solicitor ultimately responsible for files
- Always adhering to the firm's and regulatory bodies rules and regulations
- Making sure all files are to the required standard for checking and sign off by senior staff
What we're looking for:
- Previous conveyancing experience is preferable but not essential
- Individuals with solid work history within a legal environment
- All applicants must have worked in a role managing / handling / assisting with a caseload
- High level, accurate administration skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels and backgrounds
- Someone who can work well under pressure and to deadlines
- Hard working, thorough, flexible, team player
