C £45-50k + benefits

Task Master are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Manager to join a market leading fresh produce supplier based in Hertfordshire.

Hours of work are standard office hours, although flexibility will be needed during peak periods.

The package on offer is circa £50,000 per annum as well as car allowance, private healthcare, discretionary bonus and 33 days holiday including bank holidays.

The Role

• As Technical Manager you will be responsible for providing a high level of technical service to both internal departments and external customers, assisting them in meeting targets.
• You will report directly to the Head of Technical and will liaise directly with large corporate clients. Experience in a highly customer facing role is required.

Other responsibilities include:

• Engaging fully with customer account teams internally and externally to formulate, drive communicate and implement customer technical agendas in line with the business.
• Act as principal point of contact for customer teams including hosting and accompanying customers on supplier and internal visits.
• Translate technical policies into implementation plans for site and suppliers.
• Represent the company on technical issues with customers and suppliers.

Candidate Experience

• To apply for the role of Technical Manager you will have strong Technical experience within the fresh food and produce sector. You will have strong management skills and have a good knowledge of FMCG.

Other experience:

• Managing multiple projects at any one time.
• Managing and maintaining products and product information.
• Able to identify and improve on processes.
• Experience in building and maintaining strong business relations with corporate clients.
