Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician (FMCG)
Location: Houghton le Spring (DL5)
Salary: £11.68 per hour (Shift allowance and overtime applicable)
Shifts: 3 shift system
Are you a multi-skilled engineer with experience in a food manufacturing background? Are you looking for a new challenge with a growing and forward thinking company?
A client of TM Resourcing are looking to recruit a multi skilled maintenance technician to work within their friendly engineering team in a food manufacturing site based in Houghton le Spring.
The client:
They are a company with over 100 years of experience creating seasonings, sauces and seasonings, producing on average 100 tons per week of their bespoke and quality products in their purpose built factory. They are constantly investing in new machinery, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement procedures to keep up to date with the ever increasing requirement for their products.

The role:
You will be part of a team that attends breakdowns efficiently and will provide effective measures to ensure issues are found and resolved quickly. You will work closely with machine operators and shift managers on a daily basis to ensure compliance and health and safety measures are met while PM's are being conducted. You will be encouraged to share any ideas and improvements with your team to develop on the existing processes.
Experience and qualifications required:
Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
Experience within an FMCG background
Experience with reactive, planned and breakdown maintenance
Health and safety and food safety conscious
Fault finding
Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing
Pneumatics, liquid vessels and packaging machines
Flexible and personable attitude
Ability to work as part of a team and from own initiative
Good time management
Desire to take on new challenges and gain new knowledge and qualifications
Efficient working manner
