PAYE: £10.50 to £21.00 per hour plus holiday pay, plus incentives

LTD: £11.50 to £22.00 per hour (£1/hour extra in lieu of holiday pay), plus incentives

We have several opportunities available for Class 2 drivers who would like a long term ongoing contract at Manchester Airport with a chance of a permanent job at the end of the season. For those not offered a permanent role we'll offer alternative Class 2 work and we'll even consider funding you through your Class 1 (subject to you giving excellent service).

Successful applicants will load and drive specialised rigid vehicles from the airport service department. You'll drive airside where you will raise the vehicle body up on an integrated scissor lift, enabling you to load the plane (full training given).

You'll work on a 5 on/3 off shift pattern planned on 4-weeks in advance which includes earlies and afternoons. There will be weekend work but no nights. During peak season there is usually plenty of overtime paying premium rates.

Generous pay rates - £10.50/hour for the first 40 hours. All hours over 40 will be paid at £15.75/hour and if you work your second rest day or a bank holiday it's £21.00/hour. You'll also accrue a generous amount of holiday pay.

LIMITED DRIVERS WILL ACCRUE AN EXTRA £1/HOUR IN LIEU OF HOLIDAYS.

In addition, there is the potential for those who are interested to be given the opportunity to work at other UK airports (this is by no means compulsory). If you are chosen to do this, further extremely lucrative financial rewards are on offer.

You'll need a reasonable level of physical fitness to do this job and be a good team player. Since security at the airport is paramount,

to be successful we'll need to obtain suitable references for the past 5 years and we will need to do a criminal record check.
