- Description
We are currently looking for staff to work out of Barnsley delivering direct to customers homes. this role is not just a driving job as we are delivering into customers private property with, sometimes, large appliances.
Excellent customer service skills will be required as you will be customer facing and dealing direct with the customer.
The role is for ongoing work but for the right candidate with the right attitude could turn into a full time job..
The position will be working alongside a fellow driver/mate, and involves dealing with members of the public.
Full training will be provided for the successful applicants.
A brief outline of duties is included below:
- Delivery of appliances
- Handball & heavy lifting will be required
- Mon - Fri with 2 in 4 weekends
- Ensure you operate within EU driver & working & working time regulations
- Pay rates between: £8.21- £9.00 p.h(PAYE & LTD drivers welcome)
Applicants must have the following:
- Hold a C1, 7.5t HGV/LGV entitlement
- Hold a valid digital tachograph card (digi-card)
- No more than 6 points on your license; DR DD IN endorsements are not accepted
- Full CPC
- Polite and pleasant persona
