One of the area's leading Fresh Produce Suppliers is currently recruiting for a Trainee Account Technologist.
Ideally you will already have wet your feet in the world of Food / Fresh Produce and may even have come through with a Food Agriculture related DegreeYou will a clear thinker who is comfortable talking to customers and growers and can have a straightforward approach to admin and compliance as you will be maintaining Technical Reports whilst building commercial relationships.
Accountabilitites
- Maintain effective document control to detail, support in management systems and operating procedures including but not limited to Customer Policies and Specifications, Raw Material Specifications and risk assessments.
- Capture, analyse and report on technical data to drive positive outcomes and improvements.
- Support the process of delivering safe and legal produce to the customer by participating in grower compliance initiatives and advising the packhouse on process from a technical/compliance perspective.
- Support category leadership through value adding innovation and R&D
- Ensure appropriate customer standards are implemented and maintained at grower packing sites
- Support with customer and grower visits as and when required
- Assisting in site audits,
