Thermoforming Technician/Engineer

Location: Durham
TM Resourcing are currently seeking an experienced Thermoforming Technician to work for a well-established manufacturing company in the Durham area.
Ideally you will be a Multi Skilled Engineer with either a 50/50 split between disciplines or leaning towards an electrical bias. Previous experience of working with thermoforming within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, PPM, fault diagnosis and remedial actions to equipment to improve reliability and efficiency. You may also have to undertake installation and commissioning of new equipment. This can be a physically demanding role at times with climbing involved so the ideal candidate will have a good level of fitness.
Applications are welcome from Multi Skilled Engineers and Thermoforming Technicians with the following skills and qualifications;
- A recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or qualification.
- Sound working knowledge of PLC's (Desirable)
- City & Guilds 17th or 18th Edition (Desirable)
- Good Mechanical knowledge
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
- Experience of extrusion and/or thermoforming
